REFUNDS & REMEDIES

Refund Policy

Simple, fair rules for change of mind, billing errors and Australian Consumer Law remedies.

Clear expectationsBilling correctionsConsumer rights protected

This policy applies to Nexus memberships and trials. It does not exclude any right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Change of mind and non-attendance

Fees are not ordinarily refunded because you change your mind, miss classes, do not use available access, relocate, or change schedule. The AU$30 one-week trial is not ordinarily refundable after it begins. This remains subject to your legal rights and any discretion Nexus chooses to exercise.

When a remedy may apply

A refund, credit, correction or other remedy may be available where Nexus cannot supply a paid service, a service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, or a debit is duplicated or incorrect.

For a major service failure, you may have the right to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion. For a problem that is not major and can be fixed, Nexus may first have a reasonable opportunity to fix it.

Request a review

Email contact@nexusbjj.com with the member name, transaction date and amount, the issue, and the outcome requested. Do not email full card or bank-account details. Nexus will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method.

Consumer guarantee reminder: Australian consumer guarantees apply automatically and cannot be removed by a blanket “no refunds” statement.
